If you’re someone like me, who loves to buy aka “hoard” scrapbook supplies because they are so pretty to look at or you saw something in Youtube someone is using that you must have. Yup, that is basically me! Most of my income goes to scrapbooking which is bad, I know I am trying to cut it down believe me. Memory keeping is no fun when I am overwhelmed with supplies and I am hungry! Lol! I am very thankful with Trina and her team to be part of Citrus Twist DT. This month’s kit is called Stories and all about family, being thankful and grateful basically fall colours. Sadly where I am from, we don’t have fall. We only have two kinds of weather, its hot or wet season. Worry not that didn’t stop me from using the this month’s kit.
This month have been a busy month for me and I was kind of getting worried that my pocket life kit from Citrus Twist is taking its sweet time coming to my doorstep. So I planned ahead on what to do when the kit came, well..not exactly extensive planning though… more of what pictures to use and if I will use it as a pocket life entry in my album this year or make a mini album out of it. For 2 years now I’ve been wanting to be part of a Design Team. Not just because of the new supplies that I would get, but mainly because being a Design Team for me is being part of crafty community. Sort of legitimising what I love to do which is to play with pretty paper and stamps. I am so excited to “meet” like minded people during my stint as a DT. Woohoo!! I still can’t believe it. In a few days is Mylo’s 2nd birthday!!! I’m turning into one of those dog owners who treats their pets as babies. Lol! Not that there is anything wrong with that. Continue reading “My Fur Baby’s Birthday Week”
I just joined the planner bandwagon! Eek! Yes I know I told myself before that I have no business doing planners and buying planner related products because I’m already doing project life. Even though I was having second thoughts about getting one this Hello Life version of the happy planner was calling my name. I got pushed over to the happy planner side when I chanced upon a post of a person de-stashing her undated mambi happy planner for only Php 1,350 (approx. $28) including the shipping. ME ME ME ME MEEEEEE!!

How do you know that you’ve become one of those obsessive people? Well, when you wake up early to buy scrapbook supplies!! That’s how! That is exactly what I did on a sunny Saturday morning.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to Singapore. The last time I was there was year 2012 or was it 2011. I was with my mom and we did was mostly touristy. This time around, I’m with my high school friends and we went there to relax and unwind from the daily grind of our work. So we basically went there to shop, eat and basically catch up with each others lives. Its been a while since we saw each other and so we have lots of things to talk about.
This is my 3rd workshop that I’ve ever attended in Lasting Impression. Of all the workshop I’ve seen, I’m most excited about this one because I’ve been wanting to try first hand about mixed media though admittedly I’ve seen online courses by none other than Celine Navarro but I never got the courage to try it myself. I think of this workshop as my stepping stone. The instructor is none other than Iris Babao Uy. Continue reading “Mixed Media 101 Workshop”
